False Truth

have you ever had an experience that is frustrating, humiliating, and draining but no matter what you STILL want to go again?





that's Frisbee to me.



so when i got a msg from mike asking me to play for Naans (frisbee team) i was kinda ecstatic (first time getting asked to play for an ACTUAL team. HELP doesnt count) . i guess that's the feeling you look forward to the most when playing the frustratinghumiliatinganddrainingbutaddictedto game.

Woke up on Saturday i woke up at 9 with EVERY intention to get on the field, picked up jiu hwei at centrepoint (he was DESPERATE to leave the house, and he CANT PLAY YET) and off we went finding the place.

in exchange for giving him a ride, both of us were supposed to help figure out where the hell is taman pudu ulu (game was held there). we stayed up the night before researching maps, and google earth.

but STILL:

we actually passed by the field TWICE! or was it thrice...

so the 40min extra i gave myself got totally wasted and only made it 3/4 into the game. :( bohoo!

ended up just getting some throw-ins until game ended. but atleast i get another shot at playing next next week! im setting my alarm to 7.30 now....

after a spontaneous decision to meet up with qing han, we ate abit at the mamak there for awhile while waiting for qing to finish her "studying" as well as to teman jess and su anne.


started talking about MUO 2009 (malaysian ultimate open) and how to join for free (rm100 per person) which the only way was to win the muo 2009 frisbee design competition. jess and i were like debating who will win XD hope i do...

drove to HELP (singing along the way, anne and jiu leading :P )
and was stuck in the library summore coz qing STILL wasnt done...
ended up mousehunting while jiu tweeted the life out of me...

FINALLY!
awesome char kuey tiao at jalan batai. i was finding the pic of the restaurant and apparently its quite famous. BOTH the juey teow stall (in restaurant seng lee) and the corner one (restaurant shangri la) are said to be underated for its (again) kuey teow, wan tan mee, and pan mee.

chit chat and makan all the way till 3 ( qing han had to bring back food for the starving sister which is the reason why she's studying in HELP library when she could study in the library opposite her house... such a "kind hearted" sister rite? *cough*)
