sorry for the kinda late update! (Was skimming through the usual class bloggers and found that they already posted this like an hour ago..)
Todays Genting trip went out better than expected, although got a lil delayed... (by 2 hours)...
gathered at kelana station by 6.45 (eddie's dad fetched) but pushed off at 7.. (evie was last but she was our saviour in the end!!!)
so in we went in the lrt and sat/stood for 45min+ to get to the other end of the rail... Putra, to buy the genting tickets there....
owh, since it was terry's bday, we sang the happy birthday song.... in the lrt! (terry was NOWHERE to be found during the singing period... maybe because; the lrt was full and some passengers was calling us annoying...
when we got there... it was apparent that gods were intent to try and ruin a wonderful gathering...
with the statement:
"dear mr/mrs.. we are regretfull to annouce that..bla bla bla.. therefore the cable car station will be closed on the 5th december only for upgrade works...."
basically what it means is that the busses carrying passengers from the terminal to the cable car station have to instead drive straight to genting and because of that, there was only TWO departure time: 8am (which we just missed by a few seats) or... 12 PM....
so a few of us desperately suggested we try and enjoy the day by hanging out at KLCC... BUT(this is where evie stepped in as our hero for today..) evie, being a KL-versed inhabitant, remembered the old and ancient bus stop at god-knows-where (sorry, i forgot the place) which provides hourly busses to genting for a reasonably cheap price. (Resonable as in we might not reach genting considering the busses suspiciously looks like RapidKL's secondhand busses)
waiting
story cut short we arrived safe and sound... bought the return tickets to secure a way home...
i dunnoe why but there was an upsurge in people bringing camera's that day... we were like taking group shots 6-7 times...
resting while theme park tickets were being sorted out...
then headed to "the Kopitiam" to have lunch at Evie's mum's restaurant! even got a 10% discount!
taiko at work!
finally the fun begins!
the class got seperated to 2 groups coz wanted to seat different rides...
first course is always the spinner! a classic starter:
then was of course the Corkscrew! Twice!
then it begin to rain so waited for it to pass before going on the flying coaster... this is when MAny people begun to get dizzy and sick...
then it RAINED agained... i have no idea why we did it but we just started walking to find an open ride(which always closes when it rains) and walked... AND walked....
we werent supposed to enter this without buying food...
ring ring....
kids... haiz....
this was a WELL executed shot of fake emo people!
by then it was 5 and time to get back home! so thanked evie's mom for the dinner we got on and everybody slept... well... MOST of them
most artistic sleeping pose...
got back.. took lrt to kelana for dinner... got undecisive... in the end we headed to William's (it was supposed to be either Talipon or Marco's... ada konflik...) so most of them left/ditched us...
i've never been there before so i had an impression that it was BETTER than talipon or marco's since it came from eddie's mouth....
i distinctively heard the word "high class mamak stall" but i guess my ear's was broken
there were many mixed reactions when we found out the state of the shop
but in the end the food there was kinda nice... so it's sort of "balanced"....
being the best class, we dont even need to drink to enjoy ourselves!!!
