im back~
if ur wondering why is there such a HUGE gap between this posts date with the previous one, its due to my i-don-care-about-this-anymore behavior!
but then after much event that happened over these last 3 weeks or so i decided to update it!!
so! i shall dutifully start with the interact camp i attended!

b4 i begin i would 1st like to state that the trip's venue was changed TWICE... initially it was to CAMERON HIGHLANDS. man 1st we(the interact club) was like" omg we're going there owh i wanna go! i wanna go!".. THEN it was changged to this place called ... erm.. i forgot.. sumthing-sumthing-apartments and golf resort. its near genting highlands.. then we went " hm.. near genting higlands so should be still cold and its a RESORT".... then we were told bout the pricing... RM250.. *faints* then like HALF the people dropped out... nvm still alot of us... then we managed to bargain the price to rm220.. THEN to rm210(Tell me if im wrong) so ok-lar...
the days go by and the date was coming closer... THEN..just 4 days b4 we go, the venue was changed to a place called Adeline's rumah rehat.

HUH?

the 1st think that came to my mind was some kampung place with ZERO facilities and ZERO star ratings. then i noticed that it sounded familiar and remember that its situated near a CAVE and the owner cooks GREAT FOOD. so i was like fine-lar...

ok NOW i shall start....

FRIDAY,15th june 2007-met at school at 1.30pm... dad fetched me.. (i noe i stay close by but do u expect me to walk to school carrying a big bag? i dun wanna sweat even b4 we go =_=) quite a few we're already there.. nat was infront checking the bags.. pn.wee and mr.wee we're there too...so we waited... and waited... 2.30 pm..(finnaly!) we pushed off.. after lavanial smsed/called and said she couldnt go (after that we found out she couldnt go because she had to go for a new tuition.. =_=...) the journey was kinda ok.....since i was the ONLI form 5 BOY going( munyou din wanted to go because he DIDNT FEEL LIKE IT... dat han had sum sort of st john activity on sat. edward same..) so there i was sitting all alone on the bus.. DIRECTLY behind a bunch of form 4's which were super hyper... nvr saw them sleep at all..talking 24/7...atleast daniel and hariz talked to me... slept a bit... (with daniel trying to take a pic of me every now and then...) there was a pit stop for those who want to go to the toilet... i was the 1st to go down.. not to heed natures call but to head straight to DUNKINS DONUT!! *saliva drips* reached gepong bus station at around 4.30.. the schedule stated that we were goin to transfer to another "vehicle" to go to the place.. owh yea.. the facilitators! they consist of mei chin(many ppl fell instantly for her) , emily(her too), melissa(do i need to say it again?) and paul ( go figure). we're told that adeline's place is sorta booked full that day so we're going to stay at another spot(which ltr we realised its just NEXT to adeline's...) so we were wonderring whether are we goin to WALK to that place when a LORRY and a 4-wheeler stoped infront of us ..."hop on!"......which we did...



THAT WAS FUN!
the 15 mins drive(i think it was..) was full of us dodging trees and feeling bumps and near-falling experiences as the lorry swerved and blaring the horn near corners. after a while we reached gopeng nature resort.. that where we slept for the 1st night...

got a short briefing about the do's and dont's b4 giving us 5 mins to go to our dorms ( boys and girls) to unpack and meet again for icebreaking sessions and group acticities. the dorms was like a large room made out of wood and nothing more...

the ice breaking session was fun.. we all had to each state our name. and one of our uniqe-ness. the theres a catch. u have to 1st state a synonm(or was it an anonym?) lets see if i can still remember soime of them:

then there was the network game! we decorated a board with our names and then connect to one name that is associated with u. try and find me!

then there were group activities! that was fun.. it was like ..eg" get into group where theres a form 5 and 2 form 4's!" *rushing*.. who ever that din complete the tast were "punished" hahaz its was hilarious. especially the ' mau tak mau' lolz. poor viviene(or was it valerie @.@ still cant differentiate them)

then we were seperated to 3 groups and were called banters, bouncers and -sumthing-
i was in bouncers together with kevin(leader) ,zul,ashvin,caren,weishen,june xian,viviene, and julius. and so we were went on to decide our group cheer, and how to differentiate us from the other groups. some1 suggested we put a yellow "dot " on the 'i" of our names since everybody had an 'i' on their names.... except me... so i had to "modify" and i then became Arroni..
owh and i became the "Timekeeper" coz i was the onli one having a watch...(zul din wan to be..)

had dinner at 7.30...and since i was vegetarian that day i decided to eat onli vegetables since i wasnt that hungry... then had operasi burung hantu at 8.00.. kevin, being the leader led us to the 1st group to finish the course! hurray! we had fun watching the other groups waving here and there for the guide string and falling down in the river/drain.wet.soaked.dirty.shoes

finished it at around 9.30.. paul gave a leadership talk till 10 and we went to shower... the boys onli had 2 toilets so kevin's "gang" went to bathe at the "waterfall".. made naturally from a broken water pipe! hanged out till bout 10.45 when mellissa told us light out at 11....

damn!
i nearly couldnt sleep due to the fact that:
1) i had a bursting bladder and i din feel like goin coz the floor CREAK EVERYTIME U MOVE AN INCH
2) i was sleeping beside kevin. this gay dude couldnt sleep at all... every 15 mins u could hear him twist and turn.

eventually i did heed natures call, and find kevin also went to the loo. spent the next 30 mins hearing the creaks made by kevin b4 sleeping.

woke up at 6.45am... 15 mins earlier than suppsoed to thanks to yours truly..(i forgot to off my daily alarm meant for school) and wash up for morning excercises. then we had a jog from where we are to adelines and back. at the last part some simply couldnt resist a challenge to the finish. had a group photo b4 breakfast.

we than took a 5 min hike to adelines which look WAY better than gepongs nature resort.the girls drom was above the hall while the boys was across the river... (notice the long distance)
unpacked again.. b4 meeting at the hall for another set for group activities. 1st was a group activity where each member represents a either a doctor, scientist, a hippie couple on drugs, pregenant mother with child, disabled man, insane military soldier, old man,priest, and (forgot.. see... thats y i should have posted this earlier.. i'll begin to forgot stuff)

next was the balloon ballance thingy! story cut short my group lost the 2nd round(last) but the 1st round we were 1st !
then was checkers! djunglepeople style! its like normal checkers, except the pieces are u and u get to go up and diagonally as well.. IF u managed to hit a "target".the score was 2:1.. my team lost :(...

next was the best part of the entire camp... CAVING!!!!
we took the same lorry to gua Kandu.. lolz i sat in the 4-wheeler .. with mei chin~ and emily~.. lolx.. we( zul, emily,alea,ervin,adam,huey jing, caren, mei chin, and me!) played "hands and fingers do not match".. which i kept losing... and "numbers" which i also kept losing... after much humilation we finally arrived!.. we had to jungle trek abit through VERY muddy areas.. which wasnt really that bad since our shoes were ALREADY wet from yesterdays burung hantu... you could actuallly sink your ENTIRE foot in... my shoes nearly came off then.... finnaly reached the entrance of the came... our guide .. abang Hilmi gave the ussual do and dont lecture and told us bout cave bats and spiders...

then


we went in...

1st it was all ok due to the fact that we can still see abit of light.... can see lots of grafiti ... then as we got deeper and deeper our flash lights were the onli source oflight we can see.... after bout 15 mins of loud walking we reached a wide area... then hilmi asked to off our light.. ALL of them... and keep silent... it was rather calming if it wasnt for the jokers who occasionally turn their lights on and off.. spoilling the moment.... a few moments later we continued our expedition... we saw a few cave spiders a long the way... they were bout 2x the size of a normal house spider... but thats onli for the BABY cave spiders...its about later in the cave where we found the ADULT cave spiders.... a giantic creature about 30 cm wide.. with PINCERS... shyit... u don wanna mess with them... we came to one spot where we had to abseil up a wall..then DOWN again at the other end... walked abit more then we finally saw LIGHT... we reached the other end of the cave... we had to walk abit more to get to another entrance ABOVE the lower one... damn.. the sight was spectacular.

had a break there, and while some were munching on biscuits, Paul showed us something of value... yes... CRYSTALS....but unfortunatelly these were scraps coz apparently comeone had come b4 us and took a HUGE crystal rock ... leaving enough scraps for us^^ ... some of us went to the verge of MINING the crystals from a piece of crystal rock coz it was sorta huge to carry home.. lolx...owh yea.. i forgot to mention just directly nearby us was a FLYING FOX machine/whatever u call it... but sad to say bcoz it wasnt included in our fees we couldnt use it.. sobs... during this time we saw abang hilmi trying to find a way for us to go down from where we were but to no vail... so we had to take a little detour... we came to yet ANOTHER entrance and and had to jungle trek DOWN the VERY VERY steep slope... i was infront so it was VERY fun to see the rest coping... after bout 30 mins...(Seemed like forever) we reached the exit which turned out to be the EXACT SAME road from which we came from... Adeline was there with the jeeps.. oh... we were FILTHY... from a far i guess u could mistaken us for mud statues..( i was overreacting..)...

took the jeep back to adeline's... it was raining by the way... which added fun.. but then we realised the rain made us unable to menjalankan aktivity campfire... boo...
we took a wash in ANOTHER "waterfall" made from a BIGGER water pipe...(zhi young lost his specs there.. poor him..) spent the rest of the day playing group games!... then had a bathe b4 dinner.. man.. that dinner was the BOMB!... barbeque!!! lots of barbeque!!

then we had the appreciation night.. where the 3 groups had to perform a group and solo performance.. then we did a performance for pn.wee for doing so much for us to enjoy this camp... got a rare chance to see pn.wee DANCE... WITH MR.WEE!!!!...at about 10.30 after a row of games and dances...(mostly "borrowed" from scouts and st.johns) and finishing a box of biscuits... poor zulaikha and mr.wee... we hit the sack.. but like i mentioned b4.. the form 4's have unnaturally high energy levels... and stayed up to play mafia... until 11.45? (i think)... after the 1st night we realised we din really need the fan supplied to us.. (the 1st night had fans that DIDNT work) the air was sooo COLD! which was good and syok. PLUS this time we had MATRESSES!

next day was up at 7.30?(was kinda blur at that time i din check the clock) washed up and had breakfast. then we had one last activity at the hall... we sat in a circle and were each given a piece of paper plus a pen.. write our names on the piece of paper and pass it around.. when u get a paper write down what u want to say to whomever the name is on that paper! simple? yes. but very touching... its fun to see what 30 ppl write about you.then we presented pressy's for the facilitators for all that they have done for us (still remembering how they posed for the camera.. lolx.. how cliche...)had lunch b4 we took the truck back to the bus station to get on the bus. owh yea.. i forgot! Adeline was sooooo nice to give us a durian treat directly from her orchard!.. lolx.. mr. wee ahd some trouble openning the durian coz its still fresh. which means the the flesh was sweet and awesome!! ... haiz... gonna miss them...
